If you return a borrowed book after its due date, the item may be considered overdue and you may be subject to overdue fines, penalties, or borrowing restrictions, depending on the KNUST Library’s current borrowing policy.

An overdue item may also prevent you from borrowing or renewing additional materials until it has been returned and any applicable charges or restrictions have been resolved. The consequences may vary depending on your user category, the type of material, and how long the item remains overdue.

You can check your ulms (university Library Management System) library account to view your borrowed items, due dates, and any outstanding charges or restrictions. To avoid penalties, always return or renew eligible materials before the due date. If you are unable to return an item on time, contact the KNUST Library circulation/help desk for guidance.
